![]() Their Basic prog is free and I can upgrade my OS to 64bit also free and without the Win10 Update agro. I'm considering using LightWorks, with Linux OS. These backgrounds are permanently in Media-Bins under "Starter 2017.vf" so all that good stuff is how I like it. This sets the text off, far stronger than "Outline" -or the "Shadow" features. When I display A Title, I create a semi-transparent background ( using a Stills program ), of the approximate size needed, as Pan/crop is so very disengaging, IMHO. V13 was "too-soon" - but the Scene-matching feature was almost worth the Upgrade. Then SMS12 (as previous versions), has terrible Text handling, on a par with 1st Generation WPs - and New Blue just never fitted my learning time-scale - so I don't bother with it. ![]() Using software should be engaging not a potential Divorce. I have a 40" TV which is very sharp, but I don't want my nose against it. you do need excellent eyesight to read the tiny print. Spectral Layers was almost doing it for me, but just like the Show Me How tutorials. ![]() Oddly SoundForge Studio can't do ( but Sony wasn't really interested ). ![]() Movie Studio 12 by contrast is (was) excellent and handled most things well indeed I also used it for Audio- when mixing multi-tracks. ![]() Audacity isn't exactly friendly, but at least it's free and has a spectrum feature, which I don't use either. Also their silver Audio program wasn't as clever as they led me to believe, with a dreadful interface. To be honest I've never fancied dealing with Magix after some earlier issues with their Video-Editor Plus and SD/HD confusion. ![]()
